Overview

This TG model is part of our inaugural Select Series – a limited run of five guitars, each crafted with the same attention to tone, feel, and finish that defines every Turnstone. As the first instruments in this new range, they mark a milestone – and one will be the 100th Turnstone guitar ever made.

Built in small batches, the Select Series offers a more accessible way to own a Turnstone. By streamlining the process, these guitars are available at a more accessible price while maintaining the uncompromising quality we always aim to deliver. Each one is still individually voiced and hand-finished by the very same team, using the very same processes as our custom builds.

Made in our East Sussex workshop using responsibly sourced materials, this model features a Swiss ‘Moon’ Spruce soundboard, Katalox back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and an Ebony fretboard and bridge – all FSC-certified.

Our TG shape offers excellent balance and projection, making it a versatile all-rounder for flat-picking, fingerstyle, and strumming.

Finished with a high-gloss body and satin neck for smooth playability, the guitar comes in a Hiscox Pro II case. A K&K Pure Mini pickup can be added on request.

Please note: As with all Turnstones, each guitar is made by hand using natural materials such as solid timber and cattle bone. This means the instrument you receive may show subtle variations in grain or colour – unique hallmarks of craftsmanship and part of what makes every Turnstone one of a kind.

What is the Select Series?

Our Select Series is built in limited runs, offering a way to own a Turnstone without the full bespoke process. While the specification is fixed for each run, every guitar is still individually hand-built, voiced, and finished to the same exacting standards as our custom instruments.

We’ve created the Select Series with sustainability in mind, using FSC-certified timber wherever possible. These first five guitars mark the beginning of the series – and one carries the special distinction of being our 100th Turnstone guitar.
