Warranty
Turnstone Guitar Company Limited Warranty
Coverage
Turnstone Guitar Company warrants to the owner of a Turnstone guitar that the instrument will be free from defects in materials and workmanship that materially affect the structural integrity, playability, or tonal performance of the instrument under normal use for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase, regardless of subsequent ownership.
Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not apply:
(a) to normal wear, ageing, or breakage of frets, strings, nuts, saddles, tuning machines, pickguards, finishes, pickups, or cases and case components (including handles, zippers, latches, or hardware);
(b) to damage caused by modification, misuse, neglect, accidents, acts of nature, or improper maintenance (Turnstone Guitar Company reserves the right to make this determination by inspection);
(c) to matters of personal taste or judgement, including tonal preferences, appearance of grain or colour, or other cosmetic aspects that do not materially affect performance;
(d) to cracks, splits, warping, or finish damage caused by accidents, temperature or humidity extremes, sunlight, moisture, perspiration, straps, stands, or hangers;
(e) to setups, adjustments, or routine maintenance;
(f) to any instrument with a missing, altered, or tampered serial number;
(g) to any instrument that has been repaired or modified by someone other than an authorised Turnstone Guitar Company technician.
Remedies
Turnstone Guitar Company’s obligations under this Limited Warranty are limited to repair or replacement of defective parts where the defect materially affects the structural integrity, playability, or tonal performance of the instrument. In no event shall Turnstone Guitar Company be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of time, income, or profits, or damage to property. Turnstone Guitar Company may modify or improve its instruments without obligation to update or exchange instruments previously sold.
No Other Warranties
This Limited Warranty constitutes the sole warranty provided by Turnstone Guitar Company. No salesperson, dealer, agent, or employee is authorised to make any additional warranty or representation.
Claim Procedure
Unless notified in writing that warranty service may be carried out by an authorised service centre, claims must be made by sending the instrument (shipping and insurance prepaid) to Turnstone Guitar Company. The owner must include:
(a) proof of original purchase (such as a sales invoice or receipt);
(b) a description of the defect and how it affects the guitar’s performance;
(c) the owner’s name, address, and phone number.
Please contact Turnstone Guitar Company before shipping your guitar. Once inspected, the guitar will be repaired or replaced where appropriate and returned at the owner’s expense. If the issue is determined not to be covered, the instrument will be returned without repair, again at the owner’s expense.
Statutory Rights
This Limited Warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
